Workshop and Certification Program in ERP Therapy

Introductory Workshops are one day. We also offer a two day certification program. Participants will
develop a working knowledge of ERP theory and practice.
Participants will learn the following:
One-Day Introductory Workshop:
(Hours: 10am to 4pm; 5 C.E. credits)
- The theory of Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) and how it is applied to the treatment of substance abuse problems.
- How to use ERP therapy protocols to reduce client drug and alcohol cravings.
- Demonstration of how to run an ERP Therapy session.
- Integrating ERP with 12 Step and other substance abuse treatments.
Two-Day Certification Program:
(Hours: 10am to 4pm for two consecutive days; 10 C.E. credits)
Day One
- The theory of Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) and how it is applied to the treatment of substance abuse problems.
- Assessment of client's substance abuse history in preparation for ERP Therapy.
- How to use ERP therapy protocols to reduce client drug and alcohol cravings.

The ERP Therapy workshop is open to all behavioral health professionals and graduate level students. All participants are urged to read the book Kill the Craving prior to the conference.
